Although each of the Clinical Genetic Consultants sees all categories of referral, each has one or more areas of special interest. This may be an area of research or particular expertise and experience, and is shared between the Clinical team as a whole to provide a wide knowledge base. |

The Genetic counsellors also have different areas of experience, but again,

resource within the team. The Clinical team meet regularly with the laboratory molecular genetic and cytogenetic teams, based in Exeter and Bristol, to share knowledge and expertise. |
