  •  Contact a Family Every day over 75 children in the UK are born or diagnosed with a serious disability or rare syndrome and the vast majority of them are cared for at home.      Contact a Family is the only UK charity providing support and advice to parents whatever the medical condition of their child
  • Unique is a source of information, mutual support and self-help to families of children with any rare chromosome disorders including deletions, trisomy, balanced translocations, unbalanced translocations, rings, inversions, duplications, tetrasomy, monosomy, triploidy, isodicentric, marker, mosaic, sex chromosome aneuploidy (e.g. 47,XXX 47,XYY 48,XXXX 49,XXXXY etc.) etc.
  • Genetic Interest Group (GIG) is a national alliance of patient organisations with a membership of over 130 charities which support children, families and individuals affected by genetic disorders.
  • Antenatal Results and Choices (ARC) is the only national charity which provides non-directive support and information to parents throughout the antenatal testing process. Our role is to help parents arrive at the most appropriate decision for them in the context of their family life.
  • Answer Our aim is to provide information so that you can make the best decision for you and your family, whether you decide to test, or not to test. AnSWeR cannot tell you what to do, but this site will offer information to enable you to make the decision. If yours is one of the tiny minority of pregnancies which is affected by a genetic condition, this site will offer you information to help in deciding whether to continue or terminate your pregnancy.
